Aegean Arts is a Greek registered charity No 997108185. All of us who work for its cause are volunteers. We have no admin expenses and pay no salaries. Therefore, all the funds we raise are dedicated to organising the Aegean Arts annual international festival. We have no income on any sales ( all the events of the festival including the seminars are FREE.) Our success, therefore, depends entirely upon the support and belief in our work by many loyal donors.

The Aegean Arts International festival relies totally on the support of organisations, businesses and private individuals to cover all running costs. We are extremely grateful to our generous supporters for investing their trust in our goal and who come together to help make the festival a success. If you would like to become part of the festival many opportunities are available such as adopting an event or artist and covering transfer costs etc, providing accommodation at your property for participating musicians or offering meals for the artists and volunteers at your taverna, assisting with local transfers, donating instruments or equipment, transferring instruments to and fromthe venue, advertising us and helping us promote the festival, providing photo/video coverage and offering technical support. Your generosity makes a real difference
Aegean Arts is always looking to the future in order to ensure that gifted musicians benefit from performing to as wide an audience as possible at a crucial stage in their professional development. Lack of performing opportunities leads many talented young individuals to abandon the field of music, as it becomes impossible or at least cripplingly difficult to gain the valuable experience necessary to establish themselves. One has to have either rich parents, great connections or be incredibly lucky and resilient to flourish. Students pay exceptionally high fees throughout their training, attending prestigious music schools and colleges and on many occasions, by the time they reach the standard required for a career as soloists their resources have all but dried up. Despite winning international competitions, the most gifted amongst them often seek teaching positions and even change career due to lack of support. This is the point at which Aegean Arts can be called upon to help! By providing a valuable international platform for such award-winning young musicians we present them with the opportunities to gain valuable experience and international recognition.
